Jeff Scafaro - Veteran Leader in Employee and Labor Relations
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Jeff Scafaro has more than three decades of expertise in employee and labor relations across union and management settings. Jeff Scafaro specializes in collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and advising organizations on complex workplace matters. He delivers strategic guidance in policy development, negotiations, training, and conflict resolution.
Jeffrey A. Scafaro’s educational foundation includes professional coursework in industrial relations and labor law at Cleveland State University and advanced study at Cornell University’s ILR School. He has also pursued arbitration and advocacy training through the Labor Arbitration Institute and the National Academy of Arbitrators.
Earlier in his career, Jeffrey A. Scafaro held leadership roles in organized labor, including serving as president and business manager of IBEW Local 998 and service president of the Acute Care Division of District 1199P, SEIU. He later transitioned to management roles at Doctors Medical Center and Alameda Health System.
Currently, he serves as director of employee and labor relations at LifeBridge Health, Inc., consults for Falls Church City Public Schools, and operates Vanguard Consulting Group, a company he founded. He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
